Can zombies break Gates?
Zombies can break down wooden doors and not iron doors.
Zombies will not jump over gaps, so you can use lava trenches.
If you are starting/low on Iron, you can use a fence gate or place the Wooden door parallel to either side of the doorway (when you close the door, zombies will think it is open)..
Can pillagers open gates?
Pillagers are still able to open doors just like villagers, and unless you’re planning on waiting them out, they don’t just give up willy nilly. If you control where pillagers will be, it’s a lot easier to deal with them when and how you want to.
Do Pillager banners attract pillagers?
In Minecraft, displaying a Pillager banner will not attract Pillagers to your base. However, if you have the effect “Bad Omen” and you enter a village then pillagers will come to your base and attempt to attack you. The more raid captains you defeat at the outposts, the higher your Bad Omen effect stacks.

Pillagers spawn in groups of 6-20 at a region which has no player structures (or something like this to avoid annoying spawns like the one I mentioned later). Yes. In fact, villagers can only open wooden doors. Villagers can’t open fence gates or trap doors, nor can they use buttons or levers, allowing you to use iron doors, iron trapdoors, or just about any redstone-based door mechanism without them being able to escape.

Fences have a 1.5 block tall hitbox, meaning they cannot be jumped over by a player or mob, unless the mob is a horse, has Jump Boost, or is standing on a slab.

Piglins can open and close wooden doors, like villagers. Also like villagers, they are unable to open gates, trapdoors, iron doors, and iron trapdoors. Piglins cannot swim and drown if submerged; this is intentional behavior. They are not naturally immune to fire or lava.

Mobs (excluding Zombies, Spiders and Slimes) cannot draw line of sight through glass. And I think this one in particular is more than relevant : Endermen can’t see the player through transparent blocks such as glass/glass panes. Feel free to stare at them from your house now.

In the nether, all the piglins can eat are the beasts. If an adventurer from the overworld brings them a new snack, such as a potato or carrot, the piglin will become passive towards the player temporarily. If they give them enough, the piglin will follow the player and protect them for a short period of time.
